National Archery in School Program (NASP)

In October of 2013 Morley Forsgren, Kelly Kozij and Mark Kenway took the National Archery in School (NASP) instructor program along with 6 teachers from the Weyburn Comp School. The Weyburn Wildlife Federation group was looking to offer the NASP program to the youth and families in the Weyburn and surrounding area, as the Southeast school division will not offer the NASP program to the elementary level school kids.

In November 2013 we offered our first NASP archery course and had 39 youth (age 9 to 17 year olds) and 11 Adults (parents)(2014 - 47 students, 2015 - 50 students, 2016 - 30 students, 2017 - 37 students, 2018 -  29 students,  2019 – 31 students). We have taught over 263 students over the past 6 years. And can't wait to start another year!

New NASP program starting in the 2023!  More information and how to register coming soon!
